On Saturday, Aug. 26, members of the Collegeville Borough Council partnered with Redner’s Warehouse Markets and their customers on a food drive for the Daily Bread Community Food Pantry.
The Council was astonished by the show of heartfelt generosity demonstrated by the Collegeville customers; the vast majority of shoppers responded, with some buying more items for the Food Pantry than they bought for themselves.

By 4 p.m. on Saturday, the Council had collected seven shopping carts laden with non-perishable food, cleaning and personal products, and school supplies to donate to the Food Pantry. Since 2020, an ever-increasing number of families have relied on the Daily Bread Food Pantry to feed their families.
