Meet The Elected Officials

Valarie Beckius

Valarie is an elementary and special education teacher, and community volunteer. She has been a resident of Collegeville for 18 years and has a master’s degree from Penn State University. She is a committee person and member of the Borough’s Business Development committee. Valarie is committed to promoting economic development with fiscal responsibility and helping to ensure a successful future for Collegeville.

Craig Farr

A retired toxicologist and chemical industry executive, Craig has lived in Collegeville for 29 years. He wants to engage the Collegeville community and attract new businesses to our area. He has served on several local not for profit Boards, volunteers locally and has extensive experience in managing large budgets, diverse teams and complex programs.

Gary Hoffmann

Gary was born and raised in Pottstown PA, completing public schooling at Pottstown High and graduated from Ursinus College in 1990.  At BNY Mellon he is a Conversion Manger Vice President and Project Manager / Business Analyst. 
He and his daughter, who is 12, are pleased and comfortable in the Borough and its surrounding municipalities.  Additionally, he appreciates all of the positive things that have changed over the years in the Borough while recognizing many untapped opportunities to augment the great quality of life in Collegeville.

Kathy Costello

Kathy Costello has lived in Collegeville for 23 years.  She served our country as a Sergeant from the United States Air Force and recently retired from Quest Diagnostics.
Currently she and he husband John are Committee people for Collegeville 2.  Kathy started a Chapter of Indivisible MontCo in 2016 and served as Chairperson for the Katy Muth 2018 Senatorial campaign.
