Damien is a candidate for Borough Council in the Tuesday, November 7, 2023 General Election.

Damien was born in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York to parents from two working class families. He grew up in Athens, Ga., Midland, Mi., and Glenside, Pa. He graduated from Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia, Pa. in 1995 and received a B.A. in Psychology from Tulane University in New Orleans, La. in 1999. He then served as a Teach For America Corps member from 1999 to 2001, teaching a middle school special education class in an under-resourced community in New Orleans, La.
He studied law at Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, La. and received his J.D. degree with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2005. He worked as a trial attorney and Chief of the Juvenile Unit for the Montgomery County Office of the Public Defender from 2005 to 2014.
In 2011, Damien joined the law firm of Keenan, Ciccito & Associates, LLP as an Associate. Located at the corner of 4th Ave and Main Street in Collegeville, the firm was founded by Thomas Keenan, Esq. in 1982 as a general practice law firm primarily serving the legal needs of local residents and small businesses. His law practice includes civil and administrative litigation, municipal law, criminal defense, juvenile law, estate planning, and preparation of contracts/agreements.
In 2015, Damien became a partner at the firm. Damien is also a member/partner in several other local businesses, including Freeland Abstract, Home Sale Services, and 364 Main LLP.
While working in Collegeville, Damien quickly realized it would be a great place to raise a family. He moved to the Borough with his wife, Rachel, and children Reid and Nola in 2015, and considers it one of the best decisions he’s ever made. Damien believes in hard work, education, family, community, and helping others. In his free time he enjoys travel, camping, hiking, boating, music, gardening and carpentry.
