As you may know the United States has a census every ten years to determine population changes and normal migration patterns such as people moving into cities or out to rural areas. It helps to ensure everyone receives fair and equal representation and always leads to changes within legislative maps.
This will be the new 150th Legislative District, effective Dec. 1, 2022. If you live in:
- Collegeville Borough or Lower Providence there’s no change.
- Any part of Upper Providence, you will be part of the 150th.
- West Norriton, only precincts 3-1 & 3-2 will remain in the 150th, the rest of West Norriton will be in the 70th Legislative District.
- Skippack you will be in the 70th Legislative District.
However, these changes will only take effect after the November election. Until then I will remain your state legislator and my staff will be able to assist you with state-related issues.
